Central California Surveying Firm is looking for the ideal candidate for a Survey Party Chief. This position requires knowledge of construction staking and surveying for Caltrans bridges, specifically segmental bridge surveying and other heavy civil construction experience.
The candidate must be familiar with Trimble Robotic Survey instruments, digital levels and TDS data collectors and performing first order control surveys. Experience with Trimble Geomatics Office and AutoCAD software is preferred. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years field experience as a survey party chief performing construction staking on heavy civil projects. Certification or professional licensure is preferred for a PLS, LSIT, NICET or CST but not required. The position requires membership into the Operating Engineers Local 3 Union, or the ability to obtain membership. The project is located in Northern California and has duration of 24 months.
The position requires relocation to near the project site in Lakehead, CA (near Redding), housing reimbursement of $750/mo will be paid by company.
