The Kingdom in the West Series, subtitled "The Mormons and the American Frontier," is an award-winning series begun in 1997 that explores the story of the Latter-day Saints and their part in the greater history of the Western Frontier.
The history of the Mormons in the American West is so sweeping it is easy to ignore episodes that, for one reason or another, found no place in the traditional annals of the region. Primary source documents, many of them never before published, will comprise the series' core, continuing the publisher's over 100-year tradition of issuing vital source works in American history.
