In 1989 our good friends gave us this print and handmade frame that they bought from Bali! This print is a traditional Balinese painting that depicts a lively rural scene, characteristic of classic Balinese art from Indonesia. The intricate composition shows villagers engaged in communal activities like carving and surrounded by dense foliage, waves of grain, and tropical plants—motifs deeply rooted in Balinese culture - look at the detail in this print! As you can see it's signed by the artist and according to research "uBUD" below the artists name represents the region where the cultural hub was created!

This Balinese original measures 4 1/2" x 6" and the frame measures 13" x 14 3/4".
