Missy Mae is a 5-year-old, 13,1h red roan mare who’s athletic and has heart. She came to me at the start of summer, and since then I’ve put a solid, thoughtful foundation on her. She was started later in life, but she has taken everything in stride and now has 100+ rides under her.
Missy has all the basics down—walk, trot, lope, picks up her feet, trailers, ties, etc. She’s soft, willing, and naturally athletic. Giver her a task and she will put her whole mind into it. She’s been rode in English western and bareback. Shes just as soft in a halter than she is with a bit. She absolutely loves having a job, and she is the type of mare that gets better with consistent riding.
She’s already showing serious potential:
• Smooth transitions
• A good stop
• natural pivot
• Brave, forward, and incredibly willing to try
Missy can get impatient and because of her late, recent start she would thrive with a more experienced/ patient rider.
She would really shine with the right rider.
Missy would make a fantastic prospect for reining, sorting, gymkhana, ranch riding, all-around rodeo, or any competitive home that wants something athletic and talented to grow with
She’s sweet, smart, and ready for someone who will give her the consistent work she thrives on.
