21 fall bred Salers heifers and cows for sale. Bred to calving ease Salers bulls to start calving September 1st for 60 days. About 2/3 are red, 1/3 are black. This is a very gentle set of cows out of our closed herd. Currently on pasture, these girls are in great condition. They are great range cows and have good maternal instincts. You’d better like them because they’ll go forever! Expect them to be raising nice calves up into their mid teens. Their ages are: 7 heifers, 7 second calvers, 1 five, 2 sixes, 1 seven, 1 nine, 1 ten, and 1 twelve year old. Their calves also perform well in the feedlot, average daily gain of 3.5 pounds, feed conversion of 5 or 5.5 to 1, 67 percent dressout, 2/3 choice, all yield grade 1 and 2. $4,200 each.
