Scope of Responsibilities:
The Registered Nurse is responsible for the assessment and reassessment of the patient, taking into
consideration the data collected by other members of the healthcare team. The Registered Nurse is responsible
for the development of the patient’s plan of care to include preparation for the patient’s discharge and required
patient/family education. Responsible to provide leadership for the nursing patient care team and collaborate
1. Possesses a current license in the State of California.
2. Possesses current BLS certificate
3. Previous acute care and unit specific experience preferred
4. Knowledge of basic computer skills required
5. Critical Care RNs must possesses current ACLS and PALS certification. New Grads obtain certifications by end of unit orientation. Must demonstrate competency in EKG/Rhythm strip interpretation completed within six months of hire. Previous Critical Care experience preferred.
