Flexible hours and willing to be "on-call". Working with the developmental disabled adults in 6 bed residential care homes-ICF/DD-N. Responsibilities include, but not limited to, complete Nursing Care plans as needed for illness and new medications-also within 30 days of admission of new client. Updating all NCP's every 3 months-review all doctor orders within 24 hours-attend IDT meetings with completed paperwork-train and review specialized procedures every 3 months and PRN-review all medication documentation and recordings for compliance with regulatory requirements no less often then every two weeks-be a role model to licensed staff-training direct care staff whenever in the home-do medication training classes and timely follow-up for medication certification of staff-be professional and courteous when dealing with staff, conservators, clients and client's family.
ICF/DD-N's are regulated by Title 22-knowledge of Title 22 is helpful.
