I am a 38 year old mother aspiring to continue my advanced schooling in the next semester to earn a degree in Animal Care & Behavior. A few months ago I split from my child's father and he proceeded to evict me, and I am now currently homeless.
I am looking for a room or place to rent in between the Redding and Chico area for under $1000 a month. Any location as far North as Shasta Lake City or as far South as Chico I would definitely consider.
Currently, I am only able to work part-time due to health issues. I have an MRI in a couple of days to hopefully find a solution to this. My retired father in Iowa is willing and able to support me from afar while I solve my health issues, and until I can work again. I can provide childcare, pet sitting, or housework in exchange for lowered rent as well. For the last few years I have been a petsitter with Rover.com where I have a 5/5 star rating and nearly 50 reviews. I am happy to provide references for my character and work ethic.
It is unfortunate that I need to state this, but I will NOT provide sexual favors in exchange for a living situation.
I also bring three indoor cats with me. If rehoming one or two of them is absolutely necessary, I will, but I would greatly prefer to keep them.
