These Mahogany Obsidian needle earrings were discovered on a family rockhounding trip in the 1960s. Black and brown in color, the needles are tumbled to smooth their edges. Some have been paired with Obsidian beads, hand-tooled copper caps... each pair is different/one-of-a-kind. They measure app 3" long.
Unique, unusual and rarely seen in earring form, they make a striking conversation piece. See the last photo for the story behind how nature forms these needles. They make nice gifts for you or someone on your gift list.
