Strong daily commitment to safety
Consistent track record of delivering high-quality work
Ability to solve complex field problems with a hands-on approach
Practical experience in overhead construction for fiber/coax
Extensive knowledge coax and fiber network architecture, design, and bill of materials
Ability to read and interpret maps, drawings, schematics, and other project documentation
Comfortable working directly with field crews and performing physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 70 lbs
Holds required field certifications (e.g., climbing, Flagger) a plus
Must have reliable transportation to report to the yard daily; company vehicle provided for travel to job sites
Ability to travel with some possible overnight stays
Effective verbal, written, and phone communication skills
Able to perform well in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
Interest in long-term, ongoing project work
Must provide a valid government-issued photo ID for verification; a driver’s license is required

Job description
Perform a variety of manual labor tasks including trenching, site preparation, conduit placement, asphalt and concrete and general construction support using standard hand tools
Assist with fiber installation activities such as fiber blowing, pulling, and relocating RF and fiber services, as well as constructing and repairing underground fiber and coax lines
Support aerial and underground crews as trained, including basic troubleshooting of RF and fiber issues
Operate vehicles, trailers, and equipment as certified, and assist with equipment setup such as reel trailers, line trucks, bucket trucks, saws, compactors and drills
Handle material movement, job site cleanup, and routine maintenance tasks as directed
Read maps, design schematics, and project diagrams, and learn required inventory and materials for each build
Follow all safety procedures, adhere to Sprouse Communications Inc guidelines, and maintain a safe work environment on every job site
Travel must be okay with some possible overnight stays
