We are seeking a Shop Help to join our team at Battle Creek Timber, you will play a crucial role in our shop operations, ensuring efficient and safe operations.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain shop cleanliness.(Take out trash, put away tools and equipment, sweep, mop)
- Build & Sharpen chains.
- Pickup and deliver parts and supplies when needed.
- Maintain stock for operators on a daily bases.
- Collaborate with the Shop Forman and management team to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
- Safely operate tools and equipment while following company safety protocols.
- Assist in managing parts inventory and ordering necessary supplies.
Requirements:
-Clean driving record and reliable transportation.
- Ability to self start.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience in a shop setting is a plus, not a requirement.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Must be able to pass a drug test.
