Making significant contributions to the development of sales and marketing strategies and tactics.
Communicating effectively, build relationships with architects, project managers and contractors.
Identifying potential customers, and maintain a solid customer contact list.
Maintaining up to date knowledge of construction projects and competitor’s activities.
This is not a commission based position.
Required:
All applicants must have a high school diploma or GED
Maintain an active Driver’s License and reliable transportation
Clean pre-employment background check and drug screen
Exhibit good performance, safety and attendance record
Eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship

Attention to detail and accuracy
Willingness and ability to learn new jobs and skills and be flexible in daily duties

Duties:
Sales
Customer account maintenance and support
Maintain customer, vendor, and project records
Record and track email communications
Search out potential jobs, customers, and vendors
Prepare and distribute customer quotations
Customer invoicing, job billing, and tracking
Assist with collections and account follow-up
Assist customers with material selection and project requirements
Research products, vendors, and sourcing options
Coordinate custom orders and special projects
Read and interpret project specifications
Contract and document administration
Create and maintain operational reports and spreadsheets
Maintain and update company information across online directories
Create and interpret project blueprints, layouts, and technical drawings
Create, Scan, organize, and maintain digital records
Assist with inventory, purchasing, pricing and order tracking functions
Assist with vendor communication regarding billing discrepancies
Generate reports and assist management with operational data
Troubleshoot operational and software issues
Train new employees on software systems, procedures, and company processes
Sales tax configurations within QuickBooks
Maintain main company website
File updates and new applications for DBE, SB, WBE and similar certifications as needed
Research and resolve office issues
Historical company procedures, customer requirements
Human Resources
Employee document tracking
Maintain employee records and compliance documentation
Assist with employee onboarding and training
Coordinate with temporary staffing agencies
Assist in employee hours tracking for audits
Keep labor law posters and documents up to date
Keep company hiring packet up to date
Keep company safety manual up to date
Coordinate annual corporate meeting documentation and compliance requirements
Create, document, and improve company procedures and workflows
Track documents pertaining to deliveries
Qualifications
Experience in business, marketing, manufacturing, or similar field
Construction industry experience helpful
Demonstrated skill in leadership, motivation and business management.
Strong track record developing sales, marketing strategies and tactics.
Ability to read blueprints, building codes and industry standards helpful.
Set, prioritize, and meet goals and objectives.
Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and computer skills required.
Proficiency in QuickBooks, Word and Excel required.
