I have 15yrs experience as a warehouse laborer, order picker, forklift and machine operator. Drug free, and I stay off my phone when on the clock. Have transportation. Moved to Cali back in December, and I haven't found a job since. Only interview I had was with Amazon for a driver position, which they hired me on the spot! But Texas and California worked together to screw up my license, and even though I got that issue fixed, it took so long to resolve that Amazon has revoked the job offer.
Temp agency has nothing for me. Years ago, I could walk in and choose which job I wanted. Now nothing, where'd all the work go?
Sure, I could go work at mcds or taco bell, but that won't be enough to get child support off my ass, let alone pay any bills.
Anyone hiring? Any suggestions? I'm living with my parents, divorced, 40k in debt, and ready to give up!
