THE ROOM is for SINGLE occupancy only, and was set up during Covid for convenience and efficiency. It’s 132ft.², 11’x12’ with a 2’x 6’ closet that has shelves on one side and hanging rod on the other, includes XL Twin bed with sheets and bedding, a dresser, a secretary desk, 4.5 cft.³refrigerator/freezer, chair, side table, (coffeemaker and microwave if you want it?), a Brita water Pitcher and a place for a TV, which is not included.
THE BATHROOM has a skylight, a 3 way medicine cabinet, and lots of storage space, that I will help keep clean since most renters don’t. You will need to supply your own towels and toilet paper. I will supply paper towels in the Bathroom, and 2 rolls of toilet paper when it is being shared,
THE HOUSE is 1702 ft.² 3 bedroom 2 bath on creek front property, and conveniently located to Hwy 44, and the McConnell Foundation, with 8 miles of walking trails, in a very pleasant and safer neighborhood. It's 1 mile east of Win-Co and Walmart, and within a 1.5 to 2 mile radius to Shasta Mall, Dana and Hilltop Stores, Restaurant's, Movie Theaters, Trader Joe's, Safeway, and 5.3 mi to Costco. For Students, or medical workers, I'm 2.7mi to Simpson College, 4 mi to Bethel, 4.4 mi to Shasta College, 3.8 mi to Shasta Regional and 5 mi to Mercy Medical Center.
THE ENVIRONMENT here is one of relaxation and moderation, that will be shared with me, a 65 yr old woman, my small dog, and a 59 yr old male renter. I am a massage therapist and work out of my home in my Master suite, between the standard hours of 10am to 7pm Monday thru Saturday, However, my business has slowed down and only have 2-8 clients a week.
I believe in the “Golden Rule”, I’m spiritual, not religious, respectful of your privacy, and offer a drama free, convenient, self sufficient, safe space.
YOU don’t have to be a clean freak, but not a total slob either. I Prefer goal oriented, out of home working individuals, mature students, or active retirees, who possess common sense, are conscientious of their surroundings, and ok with sharing the bathroom with male or female, (will charge extra for home working individuals).
***Honesty is the best policy with me, communication is key with your response and the first part of the interview, so please respond with honest, detailed information about yourself and your Current situation in life: Name, age, sex, work schedule, what brought you to Redding, what your goals are, where you are currently living, if you take medication, have any allergies or special needs, and phone#…
PICTURES are of the room arranged differently, house, neighborhood, entranceway, hallway, bathroom, kitchen/dining room, laundry area, my dog, backyard, and some of the wildlife and fluctuations of churn creek you can see while walking the trails accessible from backyard.
