My name is Derek and I am 30 with about 16 years experience. My construction background started young with my father, who was a general contractor. My job with him entitled mostly labor, but I was around many full kitchen/bathroom remodels etc. At 18 i got into the carpenters union for 8 years. So I am a journeyman carpenter. The first 5 years of the union i did pretty much all rough framing and the last 3 years I did concrete forming/ finishing. So anything with framing including fencing, siding/ext trim, windows etc i have much experience with. And anything concrete i am comfortable with. However the last 4 years I have worked with an amazing handful of general contractors wanting to expand my knowledge. Ive done alot of tile, rock work, pavers, anything in a masons trade i am comfortable with. You can see in my pictures. The "dr suess" chimney i call it i framed and did all the rock work. And something im very proud of. Also tiled and set mantle inside as you will also see. Ive done glass block as well. Confident in just about any plumbing or gas lines work. I'm good at sheetrock, mudding, texture. Nytime of remodeling, dry rot/termite work. Also done quite a few roofs and roof patches. I'm hoping to be a general contractor within the next year, so if you have question please text or call and we can see what you need. I charge 35 dollars an hour and prefer cash but willing to work with anyone on that. 5304107925, feel free to call or text. Thank you, I appreciate your time reading my add
