At 84, he is extremely physically fit and still ever so happy go lucky.
We have part time help that comes 5 days a week approximately 20 hours and another elderly family member living on the property.
Our father is still somewhat active around the property with goats and yard work at times however his memory continues to slip away and that could change.
We are located near Shasta College and Simpson College and if you are a student or have a regular job we may be able to work around it. This is a perfect situation for writer or other creative. The property is very quiet and peaceful. We would also consider another adult who may be caring for their own elder. There are 2 rooms available.
Our goal is to find that special someone to start living in sometime in May or June. There will be plenty of opportunity to work part time to test drive until then if desired. There will be a 30 day trial period to make sure its a good fit.
Lodging in a clean and spacious room in ranch style home valued at $800/mo. will be discounted or credited completely depending on what you bring to the table. Extra pay will also be included for the right situation/person. We would prefer you have your own supplemental income source in addition to what we provide.
