Today’s Featured Find is a Hardinge DV-59 / DSM-59 Precision Production Lathe offered with two large storage racks containing an extensive assortment of lathe collets.
This American-made Hardinge machine is designed for accurate and repeatable turning, facing, drilling, boring, and finishing of smaller precision components. Machines in the DV-59 and DSM-59 family are commonly used in machine shops, toolrooms, aerospace manufacturing, precision production, prototype work, research facilities, and technical training environments.
The package includes the Hardinge lathe, original industrial cabinet, hydraulic system, turret-style tooling arrangement, work light, and the two pictured wooden racks containing a substantial collection of lathe collets.
The identification plate shows 230-volt, three-phase power with a 1 HP spindle motor. The machine and tooling have been stored indoors and appear to be in good pre-owned cosmetic condition.
The machine has not been fully tested and is being offered in its current condition. Buyers are encouraged to inspect the equipment and included tooling before purchase.
