Carpenters are essential to the production team of Pacific Builders. All Carpenters are responsible for the production of our projects; and it is their responsibility to use their carpentry skills to produce high quality work under the direct supervision of the Lead Carpenter.
Qualifications:
Applicants should have at least one to three years of construction experience and have a basic understanding of rough and finish carpentry. The position requires the willingness to work within a team and a willingness to interact with other Pacific Builders employees and clients. All candidates must have a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and the ability to lift 50Ibs.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Perform carpentry task with the highest quality of craftsmanship in the time allotted.
• Ability to install the following: wall mounted cabinetry, stud wall framing, standard base, crown, shoe and casing with mitered joints and coping joints, pre-hung door units and windows.
• Take direction from the Lead Carpenter.
• Be able to communicate clearly and effectively with the Lead Carpenter and clients
• Maintain jobsite safety, protection and maintenance of company tools
• Maintain a safe and clean jobsite
• Always act in a manner as to represent the principles of Pacific Builders
• Adhere to smoke-free worksites
• Hold themselves accountable for their work performance, actions, and appearance
• Be responsible for the production of projects in accordance to the plans and specifications or as directed by the Lead Carpenter.
