Radford Trucking is hiring a class A CDL driver who is located in Redding. This position is transporting mobile medical trailers to rural clinics and hospitals. The trailers are 48ft spread axle units pulled by 3 axle day cab tractors. Duties include setting up and storing aluminium hand railing, phone cables, internet cables, and a power cable prior to transport and for setup at the next location. Position is ready for training immediately.
Details:
*Salary position, 5 days a week.
*After 90 days you are eligible for health insurance and retirement plan with employer matching.
*After one year employment you will have 5 days PTO, after three years you will have 10 days PTO.
*Trailer pickup is 5pm. This includes stowing hand rails, power cable, phone line, and internet line.
*Most drives are 5 or less hours.
*If 1.5 hours from home after delivery and setup of the trailer you can bobtail to your residence.
*Motels provided for over night stays.
Requirements:
*Able to lift and move 50lbs.
*Clean MVR
*Valid CDL
*Valid DOT Medical Card
*2 years experience minimum
*Licensed for manual transmissions
*Willing to spend nights out
