The sign at the Anderson Walmart entrance informs customers that it is perfectly alright to ignore those who accost customers. From experience at Walmart, we know that Bethel warriors are on the loose in the Walmart aisles.
They are practiced at casual approaches, chit-chat, and then they pop the question "are you a christian"? If you spend any time around Sundial Bridge patio, you know what I mean. The guests staying at the new Sheraton Inn walk to the Sundial and are pestered by the Bethel "world-domination" warriors. Then, the guests return to their homes with stories about Redding.
Their gig is to force worldwide christian domination because that's the only way jesus will return to the earth and they rilly rilly want to meet him; 'sides, he hates all non-chrissies. Also, they claim all christians are a gawd - have you stared into the eyes of the ice cream truck driver? He's one of them. They claim to be above any authority and that's why they are a threat to democracy.
It's fun to have a response or two ready to surprise them with. Recently, I pulled out a whistle I had in my pocket and blew it right into his face. Thought he'd pee his pants.
Snap a pic, post it online, and give it to a Walmart manager.
